Shalom Missionary Church situated in Pretoria, South Africa, was formally established during the winter season of 2016 (CAT) Rev Collin and Matilda Moshupi together with their 3 daughters have a passion to do missional work in the impoverished communities in order to share the love of God with others. After a long period of time, God wanted them to grow the missional work to the next level, where His people can be discipled and that was the beginning of Shalom Missionary Church.

For the past 3 years the crusades and other social ministry activities continued, until land was found to plant a church, and a small structure began to take form. In January 2019, the church opened its doors and Rev. Collin N. Moshupi become Shalom Missionary church’s first pastor. Many outreach programs have been executed, including the juvenile prison ministry, elderly ministry, feeding schemes, women empowerment programmes and many more with the primary objective of giving glory to God.

Of necessity biblical history enlightens us to know that the Christian church is divinely called, maintained and is a spiritually perpetuating organism. The Church is the earthen extension of the resurrected Christ who triumphantly reigns and resides with God the Father. The Church is the body of Christ with members functioning in the community through teaching, fellowship, breaking bread and prayers. It was our Lord Jesus Christ, prior to the crucifixion, who told Peter in the presence of his followers that, “upon this rock, I will build my Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18).
